AMOSUN SWEARS-IN ADDITIONAL SPECIAL ADVISERS, CONSULTANTS

          Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has sworn-in three additional Special Advisers and 10 Consultants with a charge on the appointees to double their efforts in the discharge of their duties.

          Governor Amosun in his charge at the swearing-in and inauguration ceremony held at the Executive Chamber of the Governor’s Office, Oke-Mosan, affirmed that their appointment was a call to serve which comes with a huge challenge, noting that, the progress of the Gateway State in the next four years is largely dependent on their input into the tasks at hand.

           He stated that the way forward to living up to expectation was to be efficient and passionate about completing the rebuilding mission, pointing out that the need to do more could not be taken for granted because the administration since its first term has been on the right path.

          Congratulating the cabinet members, the State’s helmsman who also swore-in Arc. Segun Abiodun as the Commissioner for Housing admonished them to work hand-in-hand with the Permanent Secretaries and entire workforce, saying that they were to play complementary roles and not to be in competition with anyone.

          ‘’The call to serve is good but living up-to-expectation is more paramount. You just have to know that you are not working for Amosun but for the good people of the state. We are drivers of the rebuilding mission. If Ogun is going to get it right, it would be based on all of us. The way forward is to re-double our efforts in completing the tasks ahead.

          You are not in competition with the Permanent Secretaries in various Ministries, Department and Agencies you will be posted. You are to complement their efforts for a better Ogun,’’ Amosun stated.

          Speaking with newsmen on behalf of the newly inaugurated appointees, Mr. Akinola Lawson assured that only the utmost best would be given in their various assignments, expressing delight in the opportunity presented to serve the State.

          The additional Special Advisers are Dr. Rotimi Ogungbe, Mr. Oluwasegun Adesanya and Mr. Akinola Lawson.

          The newly inaugurated consultants included Mr Shehu Olanrewaju Adebayo, Prince Niyi Adesanya, Alhaji Bola Adeyemi and Mrs. Aderonke Onadeko.

          Others are Mr. Taiwo Fagbemi, Alhaji Moshood Taiwo, Dr. Tunji Abimbola, Mr. Musibau  Oyefeso as well as Mrs Bolanle Kuku and Mr. Dipo Oyewole
