The So-Safe Corps led by Commander Soji Ganzallo at the early hours of Friday has recovered some stolen goods from one James Adeyemi, a designer by profession at Gbenga's Compound, Ihunbo Town of Ipokia Local Government Area of Ogun State where he was allegedly caught while slaughtering a sheep he stole and served during the naming ceremony of his son.
According to a press release issued by the State Commander of the Corps, Commander, Soji Ganzallo through his Director of Information, Assistant Commander Moruf Yusuf said that the Patrol Team of Idiroko Division of the Corps got information about the suspect, he was sighted in the bush slaughtering a sheep he allegedly stole and confessed to the act that the owner was yet to know how his goat got missing, revealing this after he was apprehended and taken to the Divisional Command of the Corps for preliminary investigation of the matter.
The suspect confessed to have killed the sheep and served it at the naming ceremony of his son and that he had broken into a shop at KM 1,Ita-Egbe Road, Ihunbo on three different occasions and carted away 3 packets of cutlasses (90 pieces),1 Jacto Sprayer, and 26 pieces of different types of fumigating chemicals, 5 bags of NPK Fertilizer, 7 bottles of Guard Force, 2 Morshal chemical and some bags of maize.
Having confessed to the crime, he led the team to where he kept some of the stolen items in the bush.
The suspect and the items recovered from him -2 Galons of Super Gro, 22 pieces of Cutlass, one pair of rain boot , 1 Pear of Jacto Sprayer, 27 Pieces of different types of fumigating chemicals, 1 Spray Pump and a Red Colour Bajaaj Motorcycle -had been transferred to the Nigeria Police , Idiroko Divisional Headquarters for further investigation and likely prosecution.
