OGUN PYO UNITY PROJECT HOLDS STRATEGIC MEETING AND PRAYER SESSION FOR OSINBAJO

Ahead of the All Progressives Congress  Party (APC)Primaries slated to hold by end of May, 2022,  members of Ogun PYO Unity Project has organised Special prayers and Strategy meeting for the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo at the Lawson Group of Schools, Abeokuta towards preparation for his emergence as the Party flagbearer for the Presidential Elections. 

According to a statement issued and signed by the National Coordinator of the group, Omo'ba Abiola Ogundeko has it that the essence of the programme was part of the group's plans and efforts towards ensuring the emergence  of Prof. Yemi Osinbajo as the party flagbearer and mobilise more support towards his ambition. 

He added that putting God first was imperative as he owns the heart of men, saying that commiting the hearts of delegates into the hands of God would enable them make the right choice by throwing their weight behind him as the  best man for the job.

While calling on party delegates and other members of the public to keep faith in God, he said that the time has come to change the narratives in the political space of the Country by ensuring that the right man occupies the number one position in the Country. 

Omo'ba Ogundeko  also enjoined members of the Group across the states  to continue rigorous campaign and mobilize more women and youths for Professor  Osinbajo  by putting all hands on deck at ensuring getting the party ticket.

"Though, we acknowledged at the meeting that, the final decision lies in the hands of the delegates, but, there is nothing God cannot do to favour our Vice President " he stated. 

Thereafter prayers were offered in both Islamic and Christian ways for heavenly intervention on behalf of Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.

The special programme had in attendance: Iyalode Alaba Lawson, Omo'ba Abiola Ogundeko, Hon. Olusola Otesile, Mr. Gbenga Ogundipe, Mr. Olatunji Ola-davies, Mr. Idowu Ogundimu, Elder Taiwo Jiboku, Pastor Muyiwa Adeyemi, Alhaji AbdulRazaq Sanusi and Mrs. Olatokunbo Mohammed amongst others members of the group.
