Ogun State Government says its sterling achievements in the last three years is made possible because it has not allowed politicking to take a toll on Governance but has rather deployed it to the advantage of the people of the State.
Secretary to Ogun State Government, Mr Tokunbo Talabi stated this when he featured on a live television programme tagged “New Dawn” in Abeokuta, affirming that the administration has upheld transparency and fairness as a focused administration that gives no credence to politics of bitterness.
Talabi was responding to a question by one of the presenters asking what effect has politicking on the administration.
According to Talabi, “Our administration has played down politicking, we’ve been transparent, fair as much as practicable. You know there was a lot of political tension prior to His Excellency's assumption of duty. He stated categorically that he was in government to better the lots of the people who have voted him to power. How many times has he hit out at anybody or opposition or turned himself to some kind of demigod".
The SSG noted that “the Prince Dapo Abiodun led government has touched every aspect of life in the last three years, infrastructure, health, education, agriculture, name it, tell me any aspect we have not impacted? He asked.
