OGUN COMMISSIONER SEEKS SUPPORT FOR SERVICE DELIVERY

The newly appointed Ogun State Commissioner for Rural Development, Alhaji Jamiu Akolawole Odetoogun , has sought the support and cooperation of the management and staff, to enable the Ministry to deliver on its statutory responsibility.

 Odetoogun,stated this during his maiden meeting with management and staff of the Ministry, at the Ministry Conference Room , Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, he promised that he would continue to maintain a cordial relationship with all members of staff and other agencies under the Ministry. 

The Commissioner who appreciated the warm welcome accorded him saying that he would operate an open door policy and embrace suggestions that could move the Ministry forward, as this would go a long way in achieving the mandate of Prince Dapo Abiodun-led administration.

"I want us to work as a team, be United, as one big family, and cooperate with one another, because i am a learner, i want to learn more and move the state forward" Commissioner stated 

While welcoming the Commissioner into the Ministry, the Permanent Secretary, Mr Adewale Adetayo stated that the it is God doing to have a new doon, as the Ministry would come back alive and perform more wonder for the good people of Ogun State.

He promised that the management would be loyal to him and support him to achieve success in the Ministry and deliver a dividends of democracy to the door step of people living in the rural areas.

Also speaking on behalf of others directors, Mr Adekunle Oyesanwen, Director Planning Research and Statistics, promised to cooperate with him and do everything possible to repostion the agency among is peers.

Also present at the maiden meeting are Senior Special Assistant to the state Government on Rural Development,Mr Kolawole Agemo, Engr. Muritala Adekunle, Programme Coordinator Ogun Rural Agricultural Access and Marketing Programs (RAAMP).Mr Sola Ogunbo, Programme Manager, Ogun Rural Water ans Sanitation Agency, (RUWASTAN) among others.
