Ogun State government through the Bureau of Information Technology (BIT) in Collaboration with German International Company (GIZ) , GetFunded Africa and Software Business Solutions Consulting (SBSC) have put up awareness programs to Sensitize citizens on cyber security in commemoration of 2022 Digital Nigeria Day.
The event was declared open by the Special Adviser on ICT, Dayo Abiodun at Oguntech Hub kobape Abeokuta ,with the theme ; Digital Transformation : A path to Sustainable Digital Economy.
Represented by the Special Assistance ICT, Olakunle Akibola ,Dayo Abiodun noted that October which was globally recognized as Cyber Security Awareness Month made Ogun State government to celebrate this year's Digital Nigeria Day by awakening the need to combat activities of cyber criminals from gaining access to government or private information.
