Friends of Kitan Oyesiku Seek Justice, Urge Ogun Government, Police to Intensify Probe

Friends of the late Kitan Oyesiku have appealed to the Ogun State Government, the Ogun State Police Command, and other relevant security agencies to intensify investigations into her brutal murder and ensure that all those responsible are arrested and prosecuted.

The group made the appeal following its public awareness campaign tagged "If You Know Something, Say Something," which encourages members of the public with useful information to assist investigators.

According to the group, Kitan Oyesiku was a peaceful, kind-hearted, and selfless woman whose tragic death has left her family, friends, and the wider community in deep shock.

While commending the Commissioner of Police, CP Bode Ojajuni, and officers of the Ogun State Police Command for their efforts so far, the friends urged the police not to relent until every person connected with the crime is brought to justice.

"We appreciate the commitment demonstrated by the Ogun State Police Command under the leadership of CP Bode Ojajuni. We are encouraged by the progress made so far and urge the authorities to sustain the investigation until all the perpetrators are identified, arrested, and prosecuted.

"Kitan's death must not be swept under the carpet. She was an innocent and peaceful soul who did not deserve to die under such horrific circumstances. Justice must be served, not only for her family and loved ones but also to strengthen public confidence in the criminal justice system."

The group also appealed to residents of Ogun State and anyone with credible information relating to the incident to cooperate with security agencies by volunteering information that could aid the investigation.

"We urge everyone with useful information, no matter how little it may seem, to speak up. That information could be crucial in ensuring that those responsible for this heinous crime are brought to book."

The friends reaffirmed their commitment to pursuing justice for Kitan Oyesiku, expressing confidence that the truth would prevail and the perpetrators would be held accountable.
