The Ogun State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has joined family, friends, colleagues and associates across the country to celebrate Otunba Dehinde Boye as he clocks 60 on August 19, 2026, while also marking his retirement from the Ogun State Property and Investment Corporation (OPIC) after 34 years of dedicated public service.
Dehinde Boye, who served as Director of Marketing and Business Development at OPIC, was being celebrated not only for his long and impactful career in public service, but also for his remarkable commitment and unwavering support for Ogun NIPR over the years.
A passionate friend and supporter of the chapter, Boye has consistently contributed to the growth of Ogun NIPR through facilitation, financial support, technical assistance, and strategic encouragement, helping the chapter deliver several of its programmes and initiatives.
His contributions, the chapter noted, have never been conditional on his wife, Mrs. Oluwaseun Boye, being the current Chairman of Ogun NIPR. Indeed, his relationship with the chapter predates her present leadership, having been formally recognised in 2019 when he was honoured as Ogun NIPR Friendly Personality of the Year under the leadership of the then Chairman, Mr. Lekan Togunwa.
Since then, Dehinde Boye has remained a consistent supporter of the chapter, repeatedly throwing his weight behind its activities and offering assistance whenever his support was required.
For Ogun NIPR, his 60th birthday therefore provided an opportunity not only to celebrate a personal milestone, but to publicly acknowledge a distinguished friend whose generosity, goodwill and commitment have contributed to the success of the chapter.
As he bows out of OPIC after 34 years of service, the chapter celebrates his career of dedication and wishes him a fulfilling new chapter beyond public service.
