SO-SAFE BATTLES WITH ARMED ROBBERY SYDICATE IN OGUN AS ONE SUSPECT DIES

The Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps otherwise known as So-Safe Corps has thrown the camp of a notorious robbery syndicate who had been terrorising Flour Mill Company  situated at Araromi, Orita along Sokoto Road, Atan Ota , Ogun State into mourning after a failed robbery operation at the early hours of Tuesday leaving one suspect dead.

According to a statement issued by the State Commander of So-Safe Corps Agency through the office of the Corps Director of Information and Public Relations, ACC Moruf Yusuf said that, not less than eight members of the armed syndicate came to vandalize the Flour Mill at Atan, Ota in Ado Odo Local Government Area.

However, nemesis caught up with the culprits as the Agbara Area Command Patrol Team of the agency received a distress call which led to an engagement with the robbery syndicate in a fierce battle that led to the death of one suspects.

Some  of the culprits escaped during the fire exchange having realised that the Corp would overpowered them, but the deadly engagement of this criminally minded team led a member to fire one of his gang who gave up the ghost while others fled.

Effort was on going to get the rest of the gang apprehended, while the remains of the suspect and other items recovered at the scene have been handed over to the Nigeria Police, Atan Divisional Headquarters for further investigation and likely prosecution.
