The Pastor in charge of Evangelical Church of West Africa (ECWA), Ilaro in Yewa South Local Government of the State, Pastor John Buba Wakuma who gave the charge during the thanksgiving service organized to mark the 10th coronation anniversary of the paramount ruler, held at the palace chapel in Ilaro, pointed out that it was ordained by God that the monarch would become the paramount ruler.
Reading from the Holy book, Genesis 1 vs 1 and 28, Pastor Wakuma posited that, “we should always thank God in every situation we found ourselves. So, today we are thanking God for the life of our dear king, Oba Dr. Olugbenle for the good opportunity given him to witness this day.
“Oba Dr. Olugbenle is a man of integrity, godly and highly knowledgeable.His high level of humility is worthy of emulation by every citizen of Ogun State “.

Wakuma prayed that God would continue to preserve the monarch, and grant him more wisdom needed to lead the people of Yewaland right.
Earlier in his welcome address, the Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Ilaro, Pastor Ayodeji Alabi applauded laudable support that the association has been enjoying from the monarch noting that, the first ten years of Oba Dr. Olugbenle had witnessed testimonies of good fortunes, and seasoned with vast allmarks of restoration of lost glory to Yewaland.
The CAN Chairman prayed that the reign of the monarch would be renowned for hitch free prosperity, progress, peace and tranquility.
Giving the vote of thanks, the celebrant, Oba Dr. Kehinde Olugbenle who was full of joy and happiness posited that his tenure would continue to bring development to Yewaland and also not relent at encouraging sons and daughters of the area especially those in politics and in diaspora to bring more developmental infrastructure that would enhance socio-economic growth and development of Ogun West in general.
He enjoined the youths of the area to continue to embrace peace and do away with every form of criminality.
