The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba has approved the immediate dismissal of two Inspectors, five Sergeants and two Constables over their roles in the botched Police strike.
The affected police personnel as discovered in a signal conveying their dismissal to their Command and formation are: AP/No. 245800 – Inspector Nanoll Lamak; AP/ NP 287568 – Inspector Amos Nagurah; F/No. 271367 – Sgt. Onoja Onuche; F/No. 442680 – Sgt. Franklin Agughalau; F/No. 495378 – Sgt Emmanuel Isah; F/No. 508168 – Sgt. Adesina Ismail; F/No. 508282 – Sgt. Osoteku Ademola; F/No. 525839 – PC Ehighamhen Favour Ebele and F/No. 528222 – PC Ubong Inem.
The dismissal of the personnel as stated in the signal signed by the CP Provost, FHQ, Abuja, follow the conclusion of their orderly room proceedings for the Offences of Confidence to wit Planning, Organising, Cordinating Industrial Strike within the ranks of the Nigeria Police Force.
CP commands and formations concerned were ordered to warn the affected personnel accordingly, dekit and eject them from police accommodation and facilities where applicable.
It will be recalled that two weeks back there was rumor or attempt by Police personnel to go on strike.
The dismissed personnel, according to our findings were discovered and arrested through their calls and conversations
