The Office of the National Vice President, Association of Tourism Practitioners of Nigeria (ATPN), South West Region, is pleased to announce the official unveiling of the Chairmen of the various Committees for the 2nd South West International Tourism Expo (SWITEX 2026), Ogun State Edition, scheduled to hold on 4th–5th December, 2026, in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
This marks another significant milestone in the preparations for SWITEX 2026, a premier regional tourism event aimed at promoting tourism, culture, heritage, investment, and economic collaboration across South West Nigeria.
Following extensive consultations with the leadership of ATPN across the South West states, the following distinguished professionals have been appointed to lead the various committees:

The Office further wishes to inform members, stakeholders, development partners, government agencies, exhibitors, sponsors, and the general public that the official theme for SWITEX 2026 and the comprehensive list of committee members will be unveiled on Friday, 24th July, 2026.
The selection of these Chairmen reflects ATPN's commitment to excellence, professionalism, inclusiveness, and effective service delivery as preparations intensify for what is expected to be the foremost regional tourism gathering in South West Nigeria.
Speaking on the development, the National Vice President, South West Region, Hon. Apata Samson Nunayon, stated that the committee leadership has been carefully constituted to harness the wealth of experience, expertise, and passion of distinguished tourism practitioners and stakeholders across the region.
He urged the newly appointed Chairmen to immediately commence preliminary engagements in readiness for the formal inauguration of their committees and the commencement of their respective assignments.
The Association congratulates all the appointees and expresses confidence in their ability to provide effective leadership and contribute meaningfully to the successful hosting of SWITEX 2026.
