The Ogun State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Chief Jide Ojuko, has congratulated the former Director of Chieftaincy Affairs, Mr. Dolapo Olufemi Adewunmi, on his appointment as Permanent Secretary in the State Civil Service.
Ojuko in a congratulatory message described the appointment as an elevation destined by God, who crowns the efforts of mankind, adding that Adewunmi has demonstrated loyalty, commitment and perseverance in the course of his duties.
"I have no doubt that this appointment to the peak of his career in the Civil Service is a result of his dedication to duties, doggedness and invaluable contributions in the Rebuilding Mission of the Senator Ibikunle Amosun led administration, in transforming Ogun State and also ensuring that records of traditional institutions in the State were treated with utmost attention and confidentiality ", Ojuko stated.
While thanking the State Governor for the appointment, the Commissioner enjoined the new Permanent Secretary not to rest on his oars, rather, continue to put in his best in the discharge of his duties, advising other Directors and members of staff of the Ministry to be steadfast and emulate the leadership and administrative acumen of the former Director.
